2023 Columbia Gorge Grüner Veltliner
Notes of passionfruit curd, jasmine, spring grass, green bell pepper.
New to the 2023 offerings, our Columbia Gorge Grüner is settling in as our most esoteric white.
Vastly different from our other offerings due to its profile similar to Sauvignon Blanc,
this wine highlights our strength as producers of bright white wines.
The Grüner comes from two different organic sites in Underwood Mountain on the Washington
side of the Gorge. Thanks to huge winds and fertile, volanic soil, this fruit shines.
25% Hungarian oak, 50% neutral French oak and 25% stainless steel.
Being that this varietal ripens late, this fruit was picked right as the threat of rain and snow
hit the Gorge in late October. Clinging onto its acids and aromatics, the abv here is a crushable 11.8%
